Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died January 19 in 2008. She was an American voice actress, actor, TV, and film director. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films in the late 1950s. She then appeared in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Pleshette has also been featured in numerous television productions, often as guest actors. She was nominated for several Emmy Awards for her performance as Emily Hartley, on The Bob Newhart from 1972 until 1978.
